Self Balancing Brushless DC Motors

DC Brush-less Motor Control
Abstract
The goal of this project is to establish a self-balancing set of dual brushless motors. This group will take two motors and balance them on a single axis, similar to a self-balancing system on a drone. Using a gyroscope and accelerometer, the microcontroller will be able to successfully compensate the motors and balance them perpetually. This project is being done to research and implement closed feedback systems across multiple engineering degrees. The computer engineers mainly focused on the microcontroller, sensors and building the device. The electrical engineers worked on creating appropriate circuits for the motors, ESC, power supply, and simulation.
